Alternator Pulley

I bought a Chevy C10 Alternator I want to put on my 232 engine. I need a pulley that will work. I think it has to accomodate a 3/4 inch belt and fit on the Alternator. Anyone know where to get one? I have done a search on the forum without success.

Look on the Model A web site for supplier named Mikesafordable, just type that on google and it will come up. You can call or place an order on line. The part you want I put on mine also.

    Alternator Pulley

    Code:A10131A

    Price: $32.95

    Model Year: 1928 - 1931

    UOM: Each

    Quantity in Basket: none

High output pulley has a smaller diameter than Standard. Fits any alternator with a .670 shaft size. This gives a 20% faster R.P.M. which allows a charging rate at a lower engine R.P.M.

    Enjoy, good luck, Bob

    FYI

I suggest checking with your local Alternator/Starter Rebuild Shop for a used pully possibly from a truck.....I know they exist because I bought a Hornet that had 12V with a wide pully on the Alternator. Perhaps a Generator pully will fit by reaming.....Not sure...
  • I ordered the pulley, thanks for the info!
