    Please note that the Seville clip of the same years is also a good choice.

    Lookin' great Chaz.....Do you have the subframe welded in yet, or just propped up and in position? Will you be putting that transverse member between the rails under the tranny back in, or are the blue beam sections all you think you need??

    Any more progress on the 4dr to 2dr conversion....or the tail end reconfiguration??

    Progress is slow as normal. Life gets getting in the way you know. Plus, i have been preparing, attending and teaching at the November Texas Metal Shaping Gathering in Gatesville Texas. I just returned from it this evening. Those photos are old since I just posted them to give "what's his name" an idea of how to set one up on a Stepdown Hudson. I had a setback on the rear fender extension so I am presently working on rounding the hood's corners. i just couldn't take any more dents in my forehead from those sharp corners. Photos of them coming on another thread.

    Got here to learn some things and I have. LOL. Everybody looks at things differently! Everybody signs their own checks. Do what you feel like paying for.

    I would like to have a pristine 1950 coupe & would also like to have something that when I went by people would say "what was that thing that just passed us"?

    I got in a discussion with a friend about going to the Carrera Panamericania with a Hudson. We want to keep the flat 6 but I got worried about the suspension on a 60 yr old car and am looking at different front clips. Chevy, Ford and Race/Custom.

    I also like the extra stiffening under the rockers, a lot of these bodies are getting pretty thin.

    I've owned several Hudson's since I was a kid and once had a front hub come apart in a curve, they are fine on the interstate but at speed, throwing one into a curve, you start to pucker up.

    Plus when you're running up La Bufa at 160 you need the extra braking of discs. I'm just dreaming there. Don't take me serious.
