Good luck with that Walt. I am guessing that it is a nerve problem? Anyway, be sweet with the staff and stay away from the candy?0
-
Found out today, there is 2 bones on the right side of my left leg and they are rubbing against each other, The operation is to smoothen out the bones, place a steel cap on them and add cartilage between them and walk again. Fingers crossed. Thanks for all the well wishes. Walt.0

Good Luck Walt, the best way out of the Hospital is to get up and walk, so do your therapy and good results will come.0
-
Good luck Walt. Hope to see you walking at the national!

Thank you all for making me feel better. Never missed a day in my life from work, even while doing cars and my Hudson add ons. All my test came back perfect, even Doc can't believe that for my age, but I tell him i'm 39. I take no medications of any kind, but I guess at 92 time is catching up with me. I miss my cross country travel and Hudson is yelling. Thanks again all. Walt.0

Walt, though you may be unable to be up and around for now, at least you'll still be able to provide us with your much appreciated on-line mechanical advice to help keep our Hudsons rollin'. Wishing you a very speedy recovery to get you back behind the wheel of your Hornet and as they say in show business - "break a leg!"

Walt, if this is the only major problem you've had by age 92, you are indeed doing something right! Best wishes for a quick and painless operation, and a speedy recovery! I expect (and hope!) you'll be back on the Forum during your convalescence!0
-
Walt, best wishes for a speedy recovery. We hope that you are up and around for the National in San Mateo. You will get the shortest distance driven in a Hudson award. The only reason that Lauraine and I got the longest distance driven award last year is because you and Margaret didn't attend!

Best Wishes Walt. I am sure that those extra stiff clutches had nothing to do with this problem. All will go well with the surgery and put some extra effort into rehab and you will be out in no time! Bruce0
-

Hey Walt, here's to your health.0
-
Best to you Walt for a speedy and great recovery. Hope you are up and about again soon.0
-
Make sure that you take a scrapbook of your travels with you to the hospital so that you can regale the doctors and nurses with your Hudson stories.

Best Wishes Walt! Christopher0

I can only hope that the Doc and surgeon are as knowledgeable on 'unit compartmental' as you are on Hudsons. Could it be that all that time spent in and under Hudsons has your leg going
'Monobilt'? Best wishes for a swift and full recovery!0 -
I'm still able to drive my Jeep, standard transmission and no problems with the leg, only when I go to walk, the pain is severe. Got my notice, 6am Tuesday morning, (April 23). Thanks again all. Walt.0

Best of luck Walt, keep your head up!
