    Yes, I will be there on Wed. and Thur. with alot of 51 parts. Can not stay for all the festivities though, I am the crew chief of #156 boat and heading to Albany OR for the Sprint Boat races. Sometimes life gets a little complicated. See you there.

    I will be going to San Mateo; though I won't have the 52 Pacemaker ready by then, though it should be ready by the end of August. Look forward to seeing you all at the national, hope you all have a safe trip there.

    We found that reservations were available at the Best Western Hotel, a few miles up the freeway. So will be there Tuesday night Dan

    Not going to make it this year. Hopefully the 17 will be ready for French Lick.

    I called last July, and tried to book a room, All I could get was Wed. and Thur. I booked the room. called 2 weeks ago could not get any more nights so canceled the 2 days I had. I have the whole week booked at French Lick. So I'll sit this year out.

    "Reservations are now being handled directly by Lorena Ochoa head of sales and marketing at the Marriott San Francisco Airport host hotel."
    Her direct phone number is 650- 653- 6040 or email is lorenao@marriott-sanmateo.com.
    She has advised us that there are still rooms available at $105 for Thursday thru Saturday. Wednesday night is available for $189.00 and a few rooms for Monday and Tuesday at $189.00 still exist.

    The reservation call center has been out of the loop and not accurate on room availability information for some time.Lorena is aware of these communication difficulties and has consequently wanted to be directly involved.

    This works, I called today and added some rooms & confirmed. Richard E. will be there, probably driving the '36T. Maybe I'll bag the long distance in a "pre-war?"

    Paul - just exchanged e-mails with Al & will be bringing the NOS '39 grille as I don't have room + it's down at his place.
    He will NOT be staying at the Marriott but arriving Mon. so will be there all week & have a lot of stuff for sale.
