Now I hope you aren't going to abandon us Classic Car guys by defecting to Facebook. . .0

Got a link, Rick? Couldn't find it on Facebook.0

I really do not like facebook and try to stay off it as much as possible. Seems like every time I go there I get a bunch of spam emails in my Spam folder for a few days.

Hey guys, I am guilty of adding all the pics on Facebook and not here. If it was halfway easy to post pics here with decent resolution from a mobile device I'd have been posting them all along. I can put them on Facebook quickly without even touching my PC, at full resolution as I'm walking around the meet. I will upload these to photobucket or somewhere for everyone to see and share links here and on the HET site.
The meet has been great so far. Perfect weather, great cars, great people, and lots to do out here. Stu Coleman and Jason Fisher amongst others brought lots of great NOS parts for the swap meet. Great cars and great people, that's what it's all about!

If you search Hudson Essex Terraplane Club on Facebook you can see all the pics.

I went to Facebook and looked for Matt's pics. Sort of hard to figure out what is which, tho. Oh, well, something is better than nothing. Hopefully somebody will, in the near future build a National meet album on the HET web site Gallery. I've posted oll the Nationals that I had pictures of over there. Was pretty easy to do. I tried to identify the cars (year and body style, ie 1932 Hudson 8 coupe). That's always nice to add.

Alex you are correct, the albums there are easy to use. I've been snapping lots of pics on the fly, so I'm sure I dont have all the model numbers down. I will create an album there when I get some time.0

Thanks Matt - it will be appreciated. I, also, haven't gotten all the cars identified and I'm sure I'm wrong on some of them. We try our best.

Rick - Mike or anybody that can help me...
I followed the link for facebook in your signature section and it doesn't take me to the page? Is there a name I can type in the search bar to get to the page to see the 2013 National's pictures. Thank You

Thanks, Larry!
The sign on the Italia says, "Last Italia Built". Whom does it belong to? Looks like a sharp example.0 -
It is Fred Roths very original unrestored one. Beautiful car with great patina!0
-
Alex and Jon, your missing a lot of good parking lot drinking! Temp in the 70's no humidity!
Went to the coast yesterday on a driving tour, nice to stick your feet in the ocean! Awsome hotel.0 -
Pop a open a beer can and think of me. Hope I can get to California someday before I die! I'm with you in spirit.0
-
Jon, Ocean is ocean--East or West and naturally the gulf. Only thing you miss is the number of people in California.....0
-
Been to California a time or two - back in the good old days when English wasn't a 2nd language.

Thanks Matt I couldn't remember who owned the Italia.
Brownie I think your right about the people. The town I grew up in has grow from 200 to 600 in the last 50 years.

The red Hudson pick up appears to have a Nevada license plate on the front. Do not know of the pick up, but there was one just like it in a private collection in Carson City that was put up for auction last year along with many other cars. Looks like a great meet. Sorry I missed it. Hope to make next years meet in Indiana. I know San Mateo is a little more than two hundred miles from my house and Indiana is around two thousand miles away, does not make sense does it. I am glad those attended had a great time. Arnie in Nevada.0

The red truck is owned by someone with the last name Marshall, I forget the first name. It has an immaculate 254-8 Installed too0

The red truck owner is from Reno.0
