I think I addressed that same ignition back in the beginning. But there has been a couple of these ignition threads lately.

I'm currently running the mopar pickup to trigger my EFI.

    Charles4d,
I think Gramps just mis-spoke. I'll bet he meant "Positive Earth", and yes, they're all Pos grnd, 6V systems 'til the late Hash cars.

Frankvintage:  No I did not mis-spoke. My negative post is connected to the frame, or under the engine mount that is connected to the frame.  Or does that mean I am grounded postively?  I always thought I was negative grounded.  I would like to know.....

Hmmmmm. I hope you didn't take that wrong, but 6V Hudsons are all positive ground systems as far as I know. That said, I do have a '51 S-6 that I bought several years ago that was purported to have been a former police car and it was wired as Negative Grnd, presumably to accommodate radio gear. The stock radio won't work (or shouldn't) but I think all else will work as long as the generator is polarized correctly and it may have used a different regulator......I guess I should go look, huh?
It appears you positively have a negative ground system.
