Pertronix 1362p
Hi, good to be here.I have a 54 Hudson Hornet that my dad,a former Hudson mechanic, bought in 1974 with 11,000 miles when I was 17 years old, the paint and interior are the only things that aren't original. I'm joining this forum to learn more about my car and hopefully get help .

70,000 miles! That's awesome. Please post pics when you get a chance. I'm sure you will be able to find all of the help that you need. If you can't find it here, someone can always point you the right direction. Welcome to the Open Forum.0

I installed the third pertronix module. If this one goes bad I will change back to points. My question is,will the pertronix 1.5 coil work with points?0
-
The Pertronix Flamethrower coil will work with points but eventually burn the contact surfaces because of the higher energy passing over them. You are better off installing the stock coil with points!
