My Hudson Hornet -52 project,

  •  I have forgotten the update a bit when the car started to be in such condition that it could already be driven on the streets, I got the temporary license plates already in April and I drove them for two and a half months while waiting for the car tax decision. The car was imported from the USA already in 2006 and has not yet been registered in Finland. Well, the tax decision came and it was as big as €0. after that, the car was inspected by an inspector and passed according to Finnish regulations, and I was able to screw the HUD-52 license plates I ordered into place. It's already autumn and I'm not really interested in driving a car in the rain, but I already put 3500 km on the odometer during the summer. It works well, but during the winter you have to make that rear gearing more frequent because now the engine revs at 1400rpm per 100 kilometers per hour, i.e. the gearing is too rare. the rear axle is the original Dana 44. Would anyone have any recommendations on what kind and where to order new parts? If anyone has any questions about the journey of the project, I can try to tell you more.
