6 volt headlight amperage?

I installed a dual headlight relay with 10 gage wire on my hornet with the original 6v system. I need to put in a fuse to protect the circuit. What amperage fuse should I use?

Jim, I'd use a 20A fuse. That'll handle the normal current comfortably, but will blow quickly in the event of a short to ground.

I have a dual headlight relay....in fact two, one one each hudson and they came with 30 amp fuses built into the relay. look under the cover you may already have a fuse or two.

Thanks for the advice. My relay brand is a Dur-A-Bill, if that means anything to anyone.
