    FYI

    The Dual Exhaust Adapter I ordered late last week from BobDrivesHudson arrived today with flange Plate & gaskets in a well packaged box. Thanks Bob;

    I was pleasantly suprised to see the internal 'divider' ran almost full length inside the Adapter.

    My Wife was kind enough to let me 'bake' the White High Temp Paint inside her oven to match my manifold...(At least It smelled better than the Quick Change Rear Aluminum Covers I used to 'bake' to replace worn bearings)

    This Adapter will be installed on an elegant Hudson '8' (with Hornet Power)
    under construction in my Hudson Garage.....

    Thanks for the comments and info on your adapter. Yours is the 10th, we only have 10 left, anyone needing an adapter, email or PM me. Thanks, Bob P

    FYI

    Since the Dual Exh Adapter Flange,is very Thick,(.375+)as an alternative to welding the two pipes to the flange, I 'die ground' a bevel into one side of the flange.

    The pipes will then be 'swagged' slightly to sandwich the thick Gasket (supplied) to the Adapter rather than weld. That way I can swivel the pipes around a bit for the best fit under the '37 chassis, and perhaps reuse the flange someday. I defy it to leak....

    Sounds like you have developed a new way to make this project work. If you can send me a closeup shot of how it all fits, we would appreciate seeing it. Thanks, and good luck with the new way to "make the old dog bark". Thanks, Bob P

    FYI

    Close up Flange Picture & 'swagged' pipe 'example'. Beveled using Die Grinder enabling pipes to swivel a little prior to tightening and reuse the Flange if need..Pipes can be swagged at Muffler Shop.
